MailMerge and ServerTextControl available for client applications soon
Good news for TX Text Control client application developers: In the upcoming version X8 (18.0), the DocumentServer.MailMerge and the TXTextControl.ServerTextControl components can be used in client applications with a Professional or Enterprise license as well.
Aside from stunning new features and improvements, we will give some elements a complete makeover. This article gives an overview of the new look and feel of TX Text Control X8.

The new demo application is not longer only a demo. It comes with full sources and can be deployed as your mail merge template designer royalty-free. It contains all features and functionality to create highly professional templates for your reports or other mail merge documents.
Live preview: Test the new suggestions from TX Spell .NET 3.0
We published a little AJAX-based web application that creates suggestions while typing. You may know this feature from Google, you start typing a search string and Google recommends typical search strings that match what you have typed so far.
HighEdit is a legacy rich text component developed by Heiler Software back in the '90s. It was a competing control and they discontinued the product. Notwithstanding there are many documents stored in the HighEdit .HED proprietary format.
